The LifeCentre's normal opening and reception hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays. Events can be booked between these hours and on some evenings and on Saturdays by request. The LifeCafé is open 10am to 2pm Mondays to Fridays.
We can offer day rates and half day rates depending on your agenda.
There are no extra administration charges for hire of the rooms although we may ask for the hiring fee to be paid in advance. The use of video and sound equipment, projector, screen, flipchart, on-site parking, secure Wi-Fi and the room being set up to your requirements are all included in the hire price. For a meeting we don’t need any advance confirmation that you have Public Liability Insurance, but this may be necessary for anything more unusual, with higher risks, or if a paid contractor is involved.

We offer a range of options by our on-site catering team that is all prepared to high standards, and with consideration for dietary requirements & allergens. We are also consistently awarded 5 stars by the Food Standards Agency for our provision so we do not wish people to bring in their own food.
Yes, we have Wi-Fi available in LifeCafé and throughout the building.
The LifeCentre has fully documented emergency procedures and we have excellent fire-detection and safety equipment. For any higher risk activities in the building we may ask for a risk assessment with details of how the risks will be managed. For activities involving children that are not being left with their parents / carers, we will need confirmation that the event organiser has been DBS checked and for details of the child safety policy.
Yes, The LifeCentre has full disabled access and facilities, including disabled parking, a deaf loop, automatic doors, a lift and disabled toilets on each of the three floors.
